Tonight's job was to remount front kicker speakers more securely, Add rear speakers in the doors where there were none, and put the subwoofer in a better box.
Front speakers were easy, took the time to make enough room to make them fit.
Rear speakers were harder, needed to cut the door panel, then the inner door skin, make a boot that goes from the door to the car (no existing one present), then mount the speaker securely, out of the way of the window crank, as well as run new wires up to the deck.
Sub and Amp weren't so difficult. The amp was just floating around aimlessly, so I relocated that to the passenger rear seat back and she's not going anywhere. The subwoofer was removed from it's wimpy truck box and placed in a ported Atrends enclosure. Which doubled the bass.
All in all, this system is not suitable for a daily driver and baby carrier :)
